Gmail daylight savings timestamp glitch

As we use our mere human powers to move clocks forward here in the present, the Google monolith has jumped forward all of time in the past, as well.

Check your old Gmail messages, and you’ll see that they’re now timestamped one hour ahead. Don’t believe me? Check out “original view” in the dropdown within the email and you’ll see the real time still intact in 24-hour time (thanks, Rory).

This is particularly obnoxious when using past emails for reference. I discovered the error when going back to an old email to determine how many hours I needed to invoice for a freelance gig. I’d sent it right before I left the office, but the timestamp says 10:15 p.m., which I knew was way too late to be right.

Do you think it will be fixed by the end of the day? I actually don’t think it will. Taking bets now.
