I’m in Alpha
Please be so kind as to stalk me on the Internet and report your findings via my very-alpha interface for a project called
This project combines work for two classes at ITP: my Dynamic Web Development midterm and my final for Marisa Olson’s Sousveillance Culture.
Tell Me All About Me is an exploration of online identity.
How does the information I self-publish combine to create a kind of biography? How does that information relate to the person I consider to be “me”? Am I successful in my own attempts to manipulate my personality online? What is over-represented? What is missing?
It’s my hope that by inviting anonymous users to submit info about me, and then sifting through these submissions, I can come close to answering some of these questions.
Here are some places to start digging up dirt:

As you can see by the submissions already posted, this project is open to interpretation. There’s no tracking built into the interface as it stands, so feel free to be honest and have fun.
This project is very much in progress, and will continue to be until the end of the semester.

From the pictures I’ve seen, I can say that Heather has cool glasses.
Ha. Thanks, Corey. Now post it to the page, plz! Need info in dat@base.
